Fairness
Being fair and even handed adds to your strength as a citizen. Stand back a little and understand that other person's point of view. Give them a chance. Here's a real challenge. We're often pretty tough on politicians, thinking they're only after profit for themselves. But let's be fair. Is that true of all of them? Some at least have become politicians because they truly want to improve things in the world. So why not try to say something good about a politician today!
Leadership
Showing the way, leading by example, needs confidence, understanding and sympathy, and it brings great rewards.It can be as simple as helping a colleague out when they're struggling. Or maybe offering to organise the Christmas party.Remember that deeds really do speak louder than words.
